Solidarity
A chair with room for a friend. The Solidarity project from 1998 is by many considered to be a good example of the conceptual design that took root in Sweden during mid and late 90s. In 2005 the Nationalmuseum had a renowned exhibition summarising the era, “Konceptdesign”. The studio was represented with a number of objects, including the Solidarity chair.
Since its creation the Solidarity project has been touring the world in different exhibitions and appeared in numerous publications. Included in the project was also a mug. In 1999 the project was awarded the Sköna Hem design magazine jubilee grant.
