Dual
Ideas move in mysterious ways. I originally designed this coat hanger in 1997 when a student at Konstfack. One can see it just as a simple gesture, but I’ve always regarded it as the first object defining my approach to design — making common objects a bit less common. Pragmatic to a fault but with a desire for personal expression.
By chance, during a visit to the studio, our friends at Taiwanese design brand NakNak saw the hanger on my work table. Since 2016 it’s, in re-designed version, included in their collection.
