This patient chair is, so far, the most complex project the studio has done. The brief from the client was to design a chair that no one had managed before, including a long list of functional, ergonomic, flexible and practical features and with both caretaker and caregiver equally in mind. And, of course, giving the product dignity.
The aim was to design a piece of furniture, not a medical instrument suggesting illness. The easy chair was presented in 2013 after a couple of years of intense problem solving. It was worth it — today John is highly appreciated (in all corners of the world).
